Their squad looks pretty average

I'd take Netherlands above Germany

Germany though, never look like having a great squad per se, but almost always perform well as a team. not sure about their state now.

Germany have more potential match winners than Netherlands and history, which matters in these tournament.

I don't know how this world cup will work as it relates to knock out matches, but I'm assuming with more teams, someone could get lucky with there draw and make an unexpected run to the latter stages.

I still maintain France and Spain as the top two contenders for this. France never seem to run out of talent.

Look at NL's defense and midfield.

Gravenberch Reijnders FDJ in midfield, VVD VDV MDL SDV Dumfries Ake and others in defense is insane.

They have some great players but overall far away from France or Spain imo, i dont even think they are the dark horse this WC

Tier 3 I feel, below the likes of England and Portugal

Their attack is too lacking imo

Have to say this. Although i really dislike DLF, because he's a twat and obviously a madridista with chip on his sahoulder against Barca/Catalunya, i really like how he sets the basics for Spain. I'd prefer Barca played more like Spain - good balance of aggressive pressing and attacking proficiency, while being relatively pragmatic overall, no kamikadze football and praying on offside trap. This Spain is well oiled machine even without their best players available.
