Gavi just did his big game routine again where he does nothing but run around and shove people.

He got few key free kicks, hakimi should have a yellow but ref is crap. He did what more than any other midfielder. Not to mention, defensively he is always better than crap Busi and Pedri.

How do you take the guy out who does the most? Leave two passengers.. fuck this. All intensity gone from this team. Gavi is the only fighter in this team.

Well, FDJ to play DM instead of Busi or CM instead of Gavi? Either of those options has limitations too. None of our midfielders is creative enough.
All the creation goes through Dembele / Raphinia, because no one else can do it, exactly like this Spanish NT, only they don't even have that outlet, or a classic forward like Lewa to cross to.

True. Pedri, Gavi and DeJong is a bad mix. None of them are interested in scoring goals. We need someone DeBruyne type. Score/Pass.

They are not selfish enough. I think as a scorer Gavi has the most talent, but he needs to improve his kick.

Could be, nothing is for given. Some of the best Pedri games where at the very beginning, don't see much growth compared to 2020 Euro for example, if anything it's a decline.

Many players were great when young and didn't really reach expectations. Club and fans don't do him any good praising him prematurely like that as if he's already a top tier player.
