An offensive RB could take the wing properly, but all we've had since Alves were scrubs or makeshift defensive RBs used to be CBs .

Can Kounde become one? That would be valuable. Christensen and Araujo is fine for CBs.

Dembele is doing fine on right.. it is the system not suiting Raphinha more than anything.

He needs more movement around him and to be allowed to get central more if want to get best from him.

Dembele does fine because he has awesome speed which makes him a threat 1 vs 1. Not because the system is good. It's purely individual. The system is more or less the classic positional play system, nothing fancy, but because some players are not very good in some positions, it puts pressure on attackers a lot. In the meantime everyone gushes over our midfield talents while they don't do much in the grand scheme of things.

Barca have not been looking for that and chose not to buy that offensive RB.

Even then.. they wont be dropping Dembele for Raphinha on current form. So they wont be changing team to suit him.

The squad is lop sided with two wingers of that quality and no RBs really that can play offensively... but that is how they chose to spend the money.

Yeah, propz to Morocco. Belgium Morocco was a great one. But put Spain as winners in Scorito.

I underestimated them too based on our WC opener, particularly because they sacked Halihodzic (former Dinamo coach too) just before WC.

We need to bring more quality in midfield and in RB position.

Pedri and Gavi have no business starting together imo. And Busi needs to go too.

It's true. Gavi and Pedri, while fantastic talents, don't offer enough offensively at the moment.

We could criticize Xavi for the system he employs, but it's evident, even from the Span NT, that we have limitations with our squad.

As I said last summer...needed DM and full backs.. luckily Balde has emerged on one side as an option.

Also an AM badly. Someone in midfield who can see a space get in, and fucking shoot without passing it sideways 9 times out of 10, and pass on the burden of creating to the wingers all the time.

The midfield trio is the most evident one. Pedri, Gavi and Busquets is not a top tier midfield.

No one tries anything in this midfield with good results. Low-risk low-reward type of midfield. Gavi tries but he is too raw and erratic many times.
