Suddenly Klopp is available.

But Klopp doesn't really fit in with what Barca stand for. Different style of play. Different personality.

Klopp likes relative underdogs. Won't like the Catalan media.

Klopp is coaching Liverpool, a historically great team. Sure that when he joined, Liverpool were pretty mediocre. But still a team with great history.

Mate, have you looked at our squad when he took over?

You'll think that's a Crystal Palace squad.

Disagree with this. Klopp could really foster the Catalunya versus the world mentality, especially with financial constraints and having to bring the best out of La Masia and signing high potential projects rather than realities.

Perfect candidate for what is our next phase. And especially those crucial years until we return to Camp Nou and the rumoured Puma kit deal comes through.

You're welcome
Klopp would not care for catalan media. Would probably laugh at them. Man has already proven himself. He’s german. He’ll take the job and do the best he can. If does not work out so be it.

Catalan media would be non-factor if he is interested.

Klopp fits everywhere. He is for sure one of the best managers in the world of football if not the best (together with Pep). Furthermore, what is our style of play? IMHO we currently have no style whatsoever so that wouldn't be a problem.

I think there's a very good chance he is getting replaced in the summer.

I also think there's a very good chance we're clueless enough to hire Marquez who might end up being a downgrade on Xavi.

Don't get your hopes high for De Zerbi, Flick, Nagelsmann, Michel, etc.
But can we get our hopes up for Klopp? Hehe I mean … that would be a legendary move by Laporta. He’d bring in one of the best managers of all time. Legacy defining move! Guardiola and then Klopp. Check mate(?)!

What’s there not to like?

@Temptation Sorry for the horrific news. It’s okay to cry. Klopp is Liverpool’s MVP. The next manager will be very important. Who do you think Pool will hire?

Sorry for the bad news Temp. 😄

I don't think Klopp want to be involved in the messy politics and situation here.

Pretty sure Michel wouldn't flop here and he fits what Barca should be much more than Klopp.

It's like comparing Fiat to Ferrari. One of them is a coaching legend and another one is a guy with 6 good months behind him. Again, what should Barca be? Can you elaborate? Young people here can't understand that our style of play is a myth. Johan Cruyff played a different system than Pep or Rijkaard. He utilized different tactics than both of them, those are completely different times. Furthermore, Lucho preferred a more direct type of football than Pep or Cruyff. Our style of play should be beautiful football that evolves with time. We seriously need to stop copying Pep tactics from 2009. Hence, even Pep evolved and his football now is much different than in 2010. Absolutely no one can claim that Lpool or BVB played an ugly football under Klopp. In contrast, our style of play under Valverde, Setien, Koeman or Xavi was ugly, slow and boring as fuck. Thank you, but that "Barca style" everyone is talking about is long gone and we should move on by keeping only the good staff that's applicable in today's game.

Klopp does play attacking football, just not as possession based as Barca does.

Don't think style is a factor here.
