Absolutely ridiculous "defending". He receives the ball at the halfway line and ends up scoring in one movement as if he was prime Messi while last time he scored a goal was more than 3 months ago. You wouldn't see any other top 4 team in any league allow him to score that goal in 2026. Only Koundé-Cubarsi duo can manage that.
Sad to finally have a competent manager and capable and balanced front 6 that can outscore anyone only to be held back by 4 Getafe level defenders.
You could see at the end when RM had those 2 chances that it has nothing to do with the high line. We have everyone in the box and they still manage 2 completely unmarked players to get shots / headers on target. Can't even defend for 5 minutes with numbers. As a coach, I would despair.

Love Pedri, but what is he actually offering in that double marking situation? He’s really just tracking with his eyes.
Cubarsí also went in very late on Vini.
Koundé got nutmegged, not great defending, but it happens.
Overall, it was a great goal, but also very poor defending.
