Well, those are relatively big names tbh. Not sure if they will help him but stranger things happened.

One more question, Did Jordi Cruyff support him? Xavi didn't do it and was neutral about it.

It is quite clear Xavi does support him and has been a large part of the campaign. Seems more like just doesnt want to put himself in position of being against Laporta due to their history and his future prospects.

You're welcome
Jordi Cruyff is a distaster. Whats he doing at the club. Just came back from a failed spell in Ecuador.

Inma Puig? Any relation to our player?

Have the same question.
If there is a relation, there is a clear conflict of interests there.

Plus, the problem highlighted by many here that Xavi (who wants to be the coach of the 1st team) cannot be a general manager and have the power to fire Koeman.

PS: Irrespective of the problems, he has a plan. SAid that again, and it will stand. Laporta is running on NO plan at all

Do you think Koeman will stay for next season even if Xavi isn't his boss?

That's a different question.
If Xavi is his boss and has immediate interest to take his position, that' a conflict of interest.
It's better to leave Xavi out of the organisational chart atm, and make general manager someone who wants to remain general manager for 6 years

He just seems to be saying not involved in election when in another job.

Doesnt mean he hasnt spoken to Font/Xavi and would take the role.

Yes the same as Xavi with Qatar. It’s likely Xavi and Jordi have been told by their employers to release statements so it doesn’t look like they’re negotiating while still in a job. But it’s definitely not a good look and won’t help with votes in the slightest. Not every voter will think of it like that.

Maybe but I would guess most will still know the link is there and not be much a factor in voting.

It is like Laporta claiming he spoke with Messi then Messi said he hadnt dont think these things will matter all that much.... when Laporta wins anyway.

It just looks bad. Font won’t shut up about Xavi, then Xavi releases a statement about Qatar, then the same with Jordi today. If he has been in contact and they are part of the plans you’d at least get reassurances and make sure they wouldn’t release statements like that.

Last thing I saw on twitter was Laporta saying he hadn’t spoke with Messi?
