We said the same thing in 06/07. Look what it led to. Point is Eto'o and Henry most likely wont repeat their amazing run next season. The frenchman can probably stay and play a more supporting role. As for Eto'o we really need a change upfront to freshen things. It'll be good for the club and him.

P.S If we keep Eto'o for another season, thats like throwing a potential 25 mil in the river.

We'll see. The difference is ronaldinho was told by everyone that the CL final and the 2006 WC were the two stages he had to excel on to prove he was one of the best in history. So he tried to bite off more than he could chew in the CL final and wasnt that good. Like titi said after the game..it was larsson that made the difference, and of course the two scorers and players like iniesta. Ronaldinho was hardly anywhere to be seen.

Also, ronaldinho's lack of training came back to bite him. He had got so used to the 'easy' life that when it came to crunch time he couldnt start training hard. Henry seems different. He is still in tip top shape and seems very professional about his body and his game. Perhaps if we win the CL and la liga henry will lose motivation, but im not sure he will go the way ronnie did.

I was reading on Goal.com that Henry is going to be out for two weeks with a serious knee injury following the Game in Madrid.....someone please tell me this is not true...i saw nothing on fcbarcelona.cat concerning henry so i'm keeping my fingers crossed...... I'm hoping its some crap by goal.com
