He's criminally underrated because of his loyalty.

Every top club and manager was desperate to sign him (officially confirmed by the managers and players themselves) but he stayed at a shit Liverpool team and carried us.

If he went to Chelsea (almost did) or Madrid and won trophies, some of his critics would rate him a lot higher.

People here won't rate him though because he's exactly the opposite of a Barca DNA midfielder. He's much more of a Real Madrid style midfielder.

And yes, Rassvet got banned for 6 days for no apparent reason.

Rassvet was banned because of his continuous subtle attempts at trolling and provoking while contributing close to nothing else of note to the forum.

Everything I hate in a midfielder. No ability to intelligently control a game, just constant chaos, like a better Bruno Fernandes. Typical British brute midfielder.

The fact he thinks he would get into the current PSG midfield is funny too, shows he's dumb (he really does come across as someone who would have become a gangster without football talent) and buys his own hype. Yeah, I am sure PSG are gonna break up a CL winning technical midfield three to have him run about at 100 mph making awful decisions, leaving gaps everywhere for the opposition to exploit, and launching badly misplaced Hollywood balls everywhere. He's so stupid he claims he isn't a Barca style of midfielder, while the PSG midfield he thinks he'd get into are even more Barca coded than Barca's own current midfield.

I also hate how he moves with a football. No close control and he looks like a hunchback with that way his body looks.

Nobody in history ever set up the opponent with more goals from bad backpasses or slips, either.

He was a good player but the worship he gets in England has always baffled me. Not to trigger a certain someone, but Scholes was much better, and that's coming from someone who hates United much more than Liverpool.

Terrible coach too. Tit.
