Just realized there is an U21 Championship going on right now... thank god they did not decide to take Lamine, Cubarsi, etc just to be sure that they would win it (if that was possible at all, not sure what the 1000 rules are in these competitions)...

Btw, how does it work for Samu from Porto for example, as I know he was part of the team in the qualifications... does Porto has the last say now that they are in the Club World Cup competition while the U21 Championship is at the same time, or the player has to decide?

Since most of the important players in the Spain national team are from Barca and Barca is not playing in this tournament, do wonder how much impact it will have on the national team to not have experienced playing in the summer in the States.

Factors like long travels, time difference adjustment, humidity, weather all plays a part.

Not to mention the potential of a crap field over turfs
