Simone Inzaghi

He’s going to do the Allegri and Simeone special of losing 2 CL finals when can’t shithouse your way over a 2 legged tie.

Except Simeone and Allegri lost out to prime MSN Barca and RM.

He’s a good manager but playing the way he did and shipping in 6 goals (with a defensive focus and negative football) is not impressive. Also, couldn’t find a way to contain Yamal.

He also beat Bayern and now Barca to the final. And compare Inter's squad now to Atleti 2014-16 or Juve 2015-17, they are way inferior.

He also beat Bayern and Barca that are way inferior to those Barca and Bayern sides. It evens out.

He's done an incredible job, as good are better than flick.

He's has his players sold and can never really reinvest the money.

1 league title and 2 CL final is a great return
I don't know about CL finals but losing them being a great return.

To me, losing a lot of CL finals is not a good sign, and clear that something is missing about the club structure as a whole.

Juve is 2-7 in CL finals....5 straight losses. Now imagine if they were 5-4. They would be considered an absolute juggernaut of a club.

It's a good return given he can't spend to address the weaknesses in his squad

But yea losing back to back if that happens isn't a good look

Not much different than AM in their days. Except AM took out some real powerhouses. Much much better than Inter if you compare them.

Good to see the appreciation. Hopefully you won't support QSG of all clubs against them in the final.

I'm still supporting PSG, no one on PSG I dislike.

They didn't beat us and are far away from our CL number.

By the way, one silver lining is that we didn't actually made the CL final.

If our attack didn't click that day for some reason, I know the defense in current state is good for at least 4 goals conceded v PSG.

How much did they spend?

Very little probably. But it's a huge difference from shutting down MSN Barca with a clinical 2-0 vs how Inter lucked their way last night vs an inferior Barcelona.

Atletico far superior in 2014 and 2016 to Inzaghi's side.
