His squad is the best in Italy by far. He has guys like de Vrij and Zielinski on the bench. Two players that would start for most of the top teams in Serie A lol.

And Taremi and Arnautovic who are both a handful on the bench too.

All managers at this level have great players. He gets a lot of credit for his tactical knowledge. He's arguably the best knockout format tactician in the world right now.

I have always rated this guy. Even when he was at Lazio.

Over the last 4 seasons they are in a transfer surplus of +120 million, that is why people say that. Their transfer business is either very cheap or free signings, of players who are thought to be past their best.

Having a 36 year old Arnautovic is nothing to write home about.

Yeah, and that in Serie A managing the best side. Didn't Inter win Serie A with Conte just before Inzaghi came there?

He rode his luck big time this season in CL, and think in the final the luck is going to end. But if he gets it done, then he deserves more credit.
