Nico Paz...damn, he's good. On the way to becoming one of the best midfielders on the planet. Ridiculous turn and through pass assist, and an exquisite free kick to create both goals against Lazio. This guy's a gem.

Yes, absolutely ridiculous to throw around superlatives around like free candy. According to this logic, we would have had already 78 Messis and 56 Maradonnas in the last 2 decades alone.
I don't. I only use superlatives when justified. Hell, I still don't think that highly of Pedri, if you're wondering how picky I am. :D

Okay, then we have probably different understandings from "on the way to one of the best on the planet". For me, this means on the way to a top5 midfielder and this is still too early for him, especially rating these two scenes. His through-pass could have been easily intercepted by the 25 with a bit faster reaction and a slide, as he turned pretty late and still was close enough for a slide. A good defender intercepts it easily and nobody is talking about this scene anymore.

I mean, he is surely talented, his 35m marketvalue underlines it, but having a potential and using it until the very top are two things entirely. Let's see how he does this season.

Yep, looking forward to it. Already has been called up 3x to the Argentina national team as well.
