The only bigger club than Barca historically is Madrid. After Madrid, there are 2-3 clubs on similar status with Barca behind slightly ahead because of some intangibles, like most legends having played for them, Pep's Barca legacy, Camp Nou being the biggest stadium, and others.

I am asking what your criteria are.

Basically a combination of all the factors you can think of.

It's different obviously if we consider specific factors.

Like I have seen many sports pages and big name publications state that in terms of fanbase and popularity, Yanited are the biggest club itw.

RM is definitely number 1. It's delusional to think otherwise (too many CLs to argue against now)

2nd is a tie between Barca (insane peaks, biggest list of legends probably), Bayern (usually always competitive), Milan (insane peaks and list of legends) and Pool (had some great peaks, hard team to beat in Europe when they actually make it there) depending on your personal preferences

3rd level is Juve, Man United

4th level is Inter, Ajax

Barca, Madrid

Juve, Milan, Bayern

Man utd, Liverpool.

Liverpool and United are bigger than Juventus.

Also, no way Barca are on the same level as Madrid.

Real Madrid are on their own. Above every other club. A treble can't change that. Just the bitter truth.

Zero percent chance Bayern, is on Barcelona's level or Liverpool, man utd.

Only players picking those clubs over Barcelona are players born in their countries & players Barcelona haven't express any interest in.

Only club that competes with Barcelona for pull is real Madrid end of period no one else.

All of it is personal opinion of course however Real Madrid are the biggest club, but the top tier is Madrid,Barca, Milan, Bayern, Liverpool and United. Obviously Milan have had a massive decline in the last decade bar this season.

But football is more than 10 years old and when you weigh up clubs fanbase, former players, memorable sides, leagues and European cups I think that would be the ‘top’ tier.

Milan definitely up their.

Let's put it this way if all the teams had money, not psg crazy money, but money & all had a competitive team.

Barcelona, could go and cherry pick most of the best players from every team in the world not named real Madrid, while none bar Madrid could do that to us, because players would see that as a step down.

History has shown this to be the case multiple times, Barcelona or madrid come in to sign a player from another big team. It happens, they see it as the highest level of football/prestige a player can get to ay club level.

Only other historic team that can offer than kinda pull outside of Madrid & Barcelona, is Milan, again all things being equal.

No Bayern, certain not man utd or Liverpool.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is set to undergo a medical at Bayern Munich on Tuesday before completing a ?32m transfer. (Fabrizio Romano)

Reasonable that Bayern accept the same amount for Lewa. 32m Euros that is.

They loathe us, don't think they will be reasonable.

Business between Bayern and Liverpool in contrast always seems to be pleasant for both sides.

If they're not doing it for us they should do it for their legendary striker who has asked to leave. Going +/- 0 after Lewandowski's public comments isn't that bad.
