He was never qualified for a Barca manager in the first place.

Koeman did great in playing the youngsters and showing faith in them .. his job is done or maybe one more year as part of the transition.. then we will need a tactician and some purchases that are aligned with the manager requests

It would be fine if he continues specifically if Messi leaves, at least he will be able to mold a team he is familiar with and have them adapt to play without Messi and in summer 2022 we buy our mega star player that will cover the gap Messi left and hire a more suitable manager .. but we need to get Koeman his cheap players like Depay

Which means you will loose 1 more year modding a team for a manager you know fore sure will leave, and the next coach will need other players .... more time lost ... their is no mega star player to fill the Gap after Messi, this time around you will need an actual team building.

Given the financials it might not be as easy. Better have Koeman one more year, cut cost and save money, and spend a year trying to secure good deals and money from investors and banks .. maybe Laporta can visit Saudi Arabia for a change and build some relationships there

Edit: maybe even take the loan option and bring in some old well known strikers and defenders for one season .. the idea is to win some tournaments and thus make more money
