Looks like a few of the newer City players caught out by the pace and power of this game and will need to get on it sharpish.

Reijnders looks slow as fuck and a step off pace when asked to defend. He isnt that player.

City dont really have one dribbler on the park. Have to change that surely as an outlet.

Just not seeing the quality in this City side compared with the players they had in the past. I suppose they can built it in time, but not nearly there yet.

Indeed. How many of these City players start for Barca..

Dias and Haaland would be it and the rest a good bit off it.

True, but they rejuvenated the team so I suppose they are willing to put in 2-3 seasons of prepping these players and hope they are back to dominating from 2027 or so. This seems to be their approach.

The defense and double pivots are good once rodri is back, but whatever he sees in Bob and Lewis he needs to get over fast.

Good squad players that's it.

That entire right side is 2 steps below what it needs to be.

Also who is this keeper.

Yeah they can improve but purely where the player of both are now.

They want to win this season though this is not about a new team for 3 years time.

They've made some funny transfers if they expect to win now. They brought players who need a good amount of seasons to get to the level where they need to be. Good players, but far from being used to the level they are asked to perform now at. Signed players from Milan, Lyon, Frankfurt, not really teams who fight for championships and deal with that pressure.

They absolutely want to win now and thats what they have bought players for.

No way Pep is playing this team for 2/3 years down the line.

Doesnt mean it is not players they think can improve also.
