Yea, IMO Ten Hag has brighter and better ideas. Poch comes with an underdog mentality, that's what he always was IMO at his best, I don't see him as proactive enough. The best managers are offensive-oriented.

If they appoint Pochettino... there's a good chance they will be making another error in the long run.

Poch will always set up vs likes of Klopp, or Pep, the way Mourinho did. Defensive, trying to milk something on the counter. They need somebody brave and bold enough to challenge them, not to immediately take on the underdog role.

You have totally misunderstood Poch.
His football at Spurs was nothing like what you describe, nor he ever parked the bus as Mou against the big guns.
He just couldn't compete with them with the squad he had, which he himself turned into a well-oiled machine.

No accident that Fergie wants only him as long-term UTD coach.

IMO it's certain that If he becomes UTD coach, he can win the EPL again with 3-4 years, and make them dominate for 4-5 years at least

Mourinho is still their best manager post-Fergie, and that is not exactly high praise of Mourinho.

Correct.

Van Gaal also had a worse win percentage than his two successors, with the former Ajax man winning 52.43% of his 103 games, compared to Solskjaer's 56.94 and Mourinho's 58.33.

Mourinho won the Europa League and Carabao Cup in his two seasons at the club, as well as a second place finish.

In his 25 years in charge at the club, Fergie won 59.67% of his 1500 games in charge of the club, and won 25 major trophies.

Wolves:

against Chelsea: 0-0

Liverpool: 0-1

City: 0-1

Manu: 1-0

Pretty good results.

Also this. Why score many goals when few give points

You speak this nonsense about Poch time and again.

Poch in his time in EPL was one of the most possession based and attacking coaches in the league whether that be at Spurs or Soton. He aimed to dominate ball, press high up, give freedom to front players and get full backs as high as possible.

Making out he set up defensively to extent Mou does v Klopp or Pep is absolute garbage. Just look at his last season for example.

Spurs played Liverpool in CL final and had over 60% of the ball in 2019. In league games that season had over 60% when played Liverpool at home in league and 48% of ball at Anfield.

Against City Peps team had more of ball... as they also play attacking football and were just basically better on the ball where like Klopp/Poch would see merit in not always taking them on in that battle but trying to expose space they left at times.

Against Pep that season 41%, 48%, 34% and 39%. Not too bad averaging over 40% of ball v Peps City and not far off 50% of ball at home.

Trippier to Newcastle for 12m is a good deal for them.

The cash has started to flow, make sure Barca the for sale sign on a few players is clear to see.

Im sure he will be paid well, but its a very real possibility that he will play in the championship next season though.

An oft repeated phrase, but Chelsea v Spurs, was men v boys.

Conte cannot do anything with 2 own goals.
