He's absolutely incredible on his day, but half the season he is injured and then half of the half of the season he is not injured, he is also not on his day.
About Raphinha, we will lose ALOT with him starting in terms of individuality. BUT if we get an offensive RB then that can improve the offensive system with Raphinha (and Lamine) being able to move inside. It is not a bad move in all honesty and might even be an improvement.

We can't play like that.
System is set and stone now with square of 4 mds after almost 1 year of tinkering by Xavi since he took over.
What we saw against Madrid yesterday is our best XI and OUR system.
Remove the elite 1-1 threat on RW and this system doesn't work any more.
Raphinia is a joke there, Abde can't play RW only LW, and Lamine is still going to high school
Finding a new system will require another year of tinkering with questionable results.
After all, the box or square md is the only system where FDJ works out
No Dembele, means system has to be tweaked. And the system is as such today, because of lack of financial means to buy necessary right back.
Now with Xavi, maybe we make the change to accomodate Raphinha by the time Europa League knock outs come around. But you sure as fuck don't buy Raphinha to play him how you play Dembele. And especially if Dembele is no longer here.

Someone before made a fair point. If Neymar is always injured in France, then we better get Dembele's tombstone ready.

Since Dembele will be gone by the looks of it, we will have to adapt. It will take time for sure, however perhaps in the end this will be a blessing in disguise.
Getting rid of that Sissoko snake itself is a win.
Fascinating. Despite being injured for almost half of the season this is the first season where he directly contributed to Barcelona winning a major trophy, and then he decides to leave. It's pretty funny. Oh well, won't be missed. Doubt he will even be considered a footnote in the club's history. Will only be remembered for being Barcelona's 2nd most expensive signing ever.

He has been the hope and symbol of the new project, and Xavi relies on him a lot.
Now, I don't see in this squad another winger who can match him in terms of threat and abilities. That's not good news if this club want to refind its glory and sustainable success
