He's not a terrible player. He's decent.

But you don't want him to ever go up against the type of players he faced last night. Which is why he's more of a West Ham/Fulham type of player. Or just simply stay at Celta.

That's his level. Sometimes we see our former players do well in other clubs and believe that they could do well for us as well, but for the most part that isn't the case. See Todibo to use an example.

God knows what he did on the second goal. He literally ran out of position for no reason

Yeah, Ming the Merciless looked poor last night. Nothing like his great performance against Mongolia, where he absolutely ruled Mongo.

I think he is waiting for the clash against England, where he always steps it up against Anthony 'Flash' Gordon.

But after yesterday, Ming definitely lost some of his ( Princess ) Aura.

If I was going to start him, which I have no issues with, given how porro played before.

I would have just told him to rip it, having him play this withdrawn tactical role doesn't suit him at all.

While yamal is their being triple marked, with zero outlet.

For the 2nd goal he was literally lost in spade, yamal has to direct him where to go and by then it was too late and he slipped lol.

Where was Marcos Llorente? He's been their best RB apart from Carvajal.

Should take him even if he's in poor-ish form because he is still better than both of these guys. Would have provided some support and width and have the energy to return to defend and do it at an okay level too.

His decisions at FB is hella weird, he goes for ignoring porro for years to now he's the first choice after Carvajal

No Balde and yea Llorente had done nothing to be dropped.

This is his 4th NT game.

First, you don't judge a player based on NT football.

Second, experience is a big part of this, Mingueza plays more of an attacking inverted FB with Celta, currently DPF is experiencing with those players in this glorified friendly tournament.

Right now, Porro and Oscar are the best bet post Carvajal as RB. Both are used to different systems and he has to try them in it before the World Cup.

Probably his effort at injecting some youth into the team.

Except he is doing it by leaving out better players and then benching the good ones lol.

yes, but the World Cup is next year.
Marcos Llorente should be ahead of both of them. It's not like he's very old.

What Khaled said is basically what I said in the Spain trend, if he's doing with those two, have to play them basically equally and see who clicks first, so going into the WC you know who is the number 2, should Carvajal not be ready.

Can throw Llorente into the mix too.

That statement is spoken like someone who has not seen him play much this season, using one to throw him under the bus.

He should definitely have been subbed earlier.

No need to buy him or anyone else as it relates to RB, Garcia as surprised there.
Yes, that's true. I haven't watched him much.

But when you see the same player that he was before, with similar IQ and similar mistakes. You draw the same conclusion.

Celta is his level, and Eric has shown that we don't need to buy players for RB.

Which means there is way too long of time to decide who he is going to use, essentially half the time period between the two major tournaments. Now is the time to experiment. This is what the Nation League for, making experiments while it is fairly competitive in nature.

Marcos is a weird case, he only played once under DLF and it doesn't seem the coach rates him, but yeah he should be in consideration.
