To be fair, the hype was so high for la masia back then because of all the trophies we won. Many users here, including myself, were hyped for all the la masia players. I remember the times when we thought we had our next Iniesta in Denis Suarez

It's taken quite literally more than decade to field a decent La Masia first team (Barca 24/25). All the talents before were way too overrated or got injured (Fati).
