I call bullshit. So far Barca always managed to register all players. The locust media agitates this topic.

JuanMarti is claiming that Nico thought he has pre-agreement with us to move this summer,but the club told him there is no such thing.
Juan Marti isn't the most reliable, at all, in transfers. So,take it with a grain of salt.
However, if true it means that Barca is the one who moved on from him.

Good example why you move as a footballer when you have the hype. The hype might be gone sooner than you think.
But I guess everyone knew that.. it was mistake to stay with Athletic, at least for his career.

Juan Marti was the most reliable journalist this season, not even close. Romero became a clown with zero infos once Cruyff left the club. For example, he was the first to announce Flick was open to let Gundogan leave, while all others kept talking about German connection. He was also the first who reported Ronald Araujo turned around and wanted to stay, after Deco called him and explained things personally, because his agents didn't do it properly.
He was also the first to announce Julian Araujo to Bournemouth, before Fabrizio Romano and everyone else.
No other Barca journalist this season had so many good exclusive infos.

That is because Marti is a "squad" insider, not transfer insider. He has a source within the squad not the the board. He is the one that is very reliable with XI, injuries etc. And things that the players in the know.
Right now, it seems Polo regained his position, along Moretto as the club most reliable sources among those who speaks a lot.
