It's OK money. He still has a bit of potential, but in 2 seasons since he debut for Koeman for example, he has regressed in his standing at both Barcelona and Spain U21. The first one you could expect, but the latter given Spains lack of midfield talent is a bit of a shit really.
A reckon Xavi could have done a bit more though considering we have 4 mids, the overall level of LaLiga is poor and that guys like Bob (admittedly some at RB) get 1500 minutes.
Hope he remains uninjured and gets back on track. The irony of going to Portugal is that the league sucks compared to Spain, yet the market valuations if you play well are higher. So he could actually play a decent season there and have a higher perception and value than a decent season in LaLiga.
