Neymar dreams of returning to Barça in the summer and discussions are taking place between the club, his camp and his agent Pini Zahavi. Zahavi and Laporta share a close relationship, and Neymar wants a fairytale return. - David Ornstein

He's been mid against non-4th division sides so far at Santos. WASHED.

Someone please slap Laporta.
Nope hasn't been mid, exact opposite. Coming back from a so long injury shouldn't expect anything better.

If he gets back in good physical shape, which there are signs of, bringing Neymar back would be a good move

Those who think he'd teach Lamine poker the day he arrives probably should consider this is not Neymar from 10 years ago. A much more mature human being, with sole intention of getting back in shape for his last world cup which his focus will primarily be on anyways.

If he's actually cheap and willing to live off of the renewed sponsoships he'll get back here rather than a huge salary i'd love it. This is him trying to get into the 2026 World cup for a last hurrah. Either he'll actually try and will be a good piece to give rest to Raph / Yamal or he's ass and we just tell him fuck off and terminate his contract or something.

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Pay as you play deal only. Bring it on.

Anything to stop us buying any one of the trio from hell ( Portuguese Dembele, Inaki Williams from Wish, or No goals or assists from Barrancas. )

If he stays healthy then sure let's give him a chance at very low risk salary. Dude's wealthy enough so if he wants some redemption (wouldn't be full redemption unless we win CL) he'll agree. But I would've preferred a long term solution like Kvara.

Good guy Ney has proven his worth as teacher. Bring him and prepare Yamal to be lectured.

Neymar reveals that he "taught" Messi how to take penalties.
“We were practicing penalties in Paris (PSG), and he said, ‘Fuck, how can you take a penalty like that?’ I looked at him and said, ‘Are you fucking crazy? You’re Messi, for fuck’s sake! If I can take it like that, you can too. Just fucking practice. Practice and try (laughs)’. Then he started laughing and said, ‘I’ll try too’. That’s when it started,” Neymar revealed in an interview with Podpah.

“In the World Cup he won (2022), for example, he scored several penalty goals like that. The only one he didn't take while looking at the goalkeeper, he missed,” he added.

He's physically done for.
I don't doubt his class on the ball. Xavi probably still passes better than 90% of LaLiga, but the problem is the intensity they can do it with. You can have the best technique in the world, if you're too slow, you'll lose the ball. We've seen that even with Messi in our last years how often he started to lose the ball in comparison. Neymar is even worse now, he lost focus on football long ago, prefered a big paycheck and playing counter-strike.

Now he's in some kind of mid-life crises, knows his football clock is coming to an end and tries desperatly to relive his best moments before it's too late. Well, guess what, should have thought about that a bit earlier. Good comeback stories are a big exception in football, most of them result in failure, because the mind plays a trick in thinking he's the same player that left and that leads to impossible expectations, which result in frustration in the end. Ronaldo at United is a perfect example.

Further, he'll destroy the team's unity by taking all the spotlight for himself. We have a young team that grows together. The last thing they need is a black hole that sucks in everything around. His name alone will make everything about him again, increase the pressure to see him on the pitch. Yes, it'll be fun the first 2 weeks and after? The big hype will be gone, the reality will set in and his name will dominate in all topics for all kinds of reasons, creating unrest.

Even now in Brazil, he looks older on the pitch than Modric. How do you think it'll look in LaLiga?

Bring him, Messi and Suarez back for one farewell game in the Nou Camp Nou. That's the only time he should play for Barca.
