Pele can definitely win the WC with this team.
No he can't

Neymar scored the winner in 2022 and his teammates absolutely failed him by not being able to endure for next few mins. Argentines would die but not let some Bruno fucking Petkovic shit on Messi's career. You can put Pele, the literal football deity, in the middle of that team and they won't have sense of having to give their absolute maximum for the nation and for their national legend

In 2014 Neymar was injured in QF and carried them to that place. Nothing he could do to prevent disaster in semis. You can maybe, just maybe only blame him for 2018. For not producing some unreal stuff out of nowhere against Belgium and bailing his team out. Would Pele do that? I'm doubtful, but maybe he would. Even then, Brazil would hardly have a chance against that France team. They had more hunger, more fighting and frankly more talent as well

Rarely agree with Baljeet, but Pele is a different category to Dinho for sure and R9 as well (career wise, peak level is more of a conversation).

Pele had his cartoon moments of counting stats from friendlies, but he is one of the football trinity without question

Because Neymar isn't even physically fit anymore?

Atleast Cristiano is match fit.

Oh and because Ronaldo is way better and far more important to Portuguese Football.
There are 8 months until WC. He has time to improve physically. Fact is despite those failed rainbow flicks he actually had a solid game vs Palmeiras, a club that proved in CWC at least matches the level of most mid tier Euro clubs. Maybe soon he will realize he is no more the entertainer with flashy moves , simply needs to utilize his creativity, playmaking, goalscoring. And he won't be starter, he can make impact off the bench. Both in game and off the pitch, he's an idol to great deal of those younger players in the team.

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
NeyLad is seriously underrated in the footballing community. I would have loved to see Ronaldo try to carry the hopes of 200 million people solely on his shoulders like Ney did.

It's ironic Ronaldo fans always bemoan his teammates whilst the best Neymar could hope for was a through ball from a West Ham player who is more known for gambling than his football.

Let's face it, Neymar was the one who PLAYED ALONE. I can't think of one great attacking player he has ever played with for Brazil. And often Neymar ALONE was nearly enough. Would he have won them the World Cup almost single handedly in 2014 had he not got injured ? Who can forget the Copa America final Vs Argentina where he was the best player on the park by a country mile.

Neymar is the second best player of this generation and honestly, it's not particularly close. He only lacked superb finishing. Had he had that, you are looking at a top 10 footballer of all time.

To say that Neymar is the second-best player of his generation is a bit of an exaggeration.
