Germany had a couple of good chances in the first half of the first half, and put together some nice moves. Some good pressing by them. But overall a mediocre game as FCBarca just said.

Portugal been poor. They're so one-dimensional with Ronaldo and just resort to trying hero ball like Fernandes at United.

One of my favourite Portuguese players of all time was Joao Moutinho.

He was tiny but was brilliant technically and made the game look so easy.

Big fan of his. Excellent technique, touch, control and composure. Great IQ, excellent in tight spaces and excels at 1-2's, pass and move and ball manipulation.

He's like a poor man's Luka Modric (which is high praise BTW).

He's definitely making my underrated 11. 😎

It's tough not to be excited about Wirtz. His dribbling, close control and IQ is elite. Such a gifted player. Did a lot of research on him and people who watch him week in week out seem to think he's one of the best itw. Stats and highlight reels more than back it up too. People who watch him regularly rate him even higher than the casuals do which is a great sign. He really is that guy!
