As Raphinha's backup not too bad.We really must be broke if we're getting Rashford (hopefully a loan) while not buying a winger, striker, midfielder or fullback. Joan Garcia and Rashford on loan likely our only signings.
Striker next year then, hopefully.

Raphinha didn’t really do much when he first joined us same with Ferran. At the start, they were pretty underwhelming. But now? They’re performing at a top level, our level.Players who have the desire to win and improve dont just acquire it out of thin air. It's a part of them. Their workrate is part of who they are. Lazy, disinterested players like Rashford and Leao dont suddenly change who they are because Flick gives them a pep talk. Flick can augment, supplement a desire that is already there, he can't create it.
I expect either will hustle a bit at first, then slowly stop pressing and working as hard because it's just not who they are. I could be wrong, but I would choose not to bet on them.
We can hope so, but from what Deco has said I dont see it happening. As much as we'd like to bring in a striker to replace Lewa, there hasn't been anything mentioned regarding a striker at all. I think they know Lewa doesn't want to leave and we are stuck with him. We can't manage a new strikers fee and salary while still paying Lewa, unfortunately. A versatile fullback was the obvious choice for a reinforcement, but Deco already surprisingly ruled that out.Getting Rashford on loan(no transfer fee) means that we may still have some money for one more signing.

I have no issues with Leao or Rashford.. so let other clubs get them and make them stronger makes lots of sense while we continue with Lamine and a Rightwinger Raphinha playing left waiting for a 4month or season ending injury must be fun to a few of you 🤣

Also plenty shit stuff with zero brains. I am not fundamentally against him, but I don’t rate him. Joao 2.0.Some great moves and moments in there.
He's terrible as a 9. If you watched him every week for years as I have you would know this. United fans hate him there too. He can only play lwPut him on 9 problem solved.
Most of that is him losing the ball. Some great moves and moments in there.
We don't really need a striker right now. Lewa just finished the season scoring 42 goals for us, he can pretty much score at least 30 next season plus Ferran is doing a decent job there and Rashford(if he comes) can play there too. I agree with you that we need a versatile fullback and i still believe the board will make a third signing, if i remember correctly we were linked with Vanderson and he fits that profile you mentioned. We can hope so, but from what Deco has said I dont see it happening. That leaves only LW as being a bigger, star signing. Rashford coming on loan kind of sets the stage. Who knows, maybe we'll be surprised.
😅
Liking yamal's picture, he's making it too obvious he wants to join the greatest club in the world
