I know stats aren't everything and for the record I'm not a massive fan of this signing either, but I'll post the stats I posted a few weeks ago:

Last three years incl. this one, club stats only.

Rashford: 140 games, 49 goals and 27 assists.

Leao: 145 games, 43 goals and 42 assists.

Kvaratskhelia: 131 games, 36 goals and 35 assists.

Luis Diaz: 121 games, 35 goals and 18 assists.

Nico Williams: 124 games, 28 goals and 29 assists.

True. We need to mix it up more this season. Ferran at this point is also higher in status in the team compared to when last season started and he was seen more like a flop.

This improved version of Torres coming off his best season at the club, plus hungry Rashford. Should technically be a pretty big jolt to our offense. Unlike how it looked last season, when Raph and Yamal had to play every game almost.
I think Rashford will allow Flick to try some interesting experiments. I am excited to see how they pan out.

Why would we risk signing a lesser known name on a permanent deal not knowing if said player could actually contribute this season when the entire point with signing a left-winger is so we don't have to play our starters until run out of steam?

We are doing that now. This bum is a much bigger risk that some young talented motivated winger.

You are talking like we signed some WC winger, not a reject from a relegation fighting club.

He has some degree of talent (I think a lot of people overrate his natural ability though). There's a potential upside but a lot of risks too. People should not be blind to how it could go pear-shaped (I outlined some of the reasons earlier). I hope it won't though.

The expectations at United are huge. There's something about the culture of the club that smashes all youth players. Rashford and McTominay are the top talents to have emerged under their academy in the last decade. One of them is already gone and the other one is one foot outside the club.
Greenwood was a much bigger talent than both, for me. He's just a waster of a human being.

You have at 0:57, nice pass, then drive forward drawing both Marquinhos and Mendes, leaving Tielemans open, scores for 1-2.

1:53, dribbles both Fabian and Marquinhos, sets it on a plate for 2-2.

2:08, top shot, top save by Donnarumma.

I mean, come on, he has ability, he's no bum when he's focused.

2:36, perfect cross, should have been a goal really.

Rashford has ability. Bums don't do this stuff vs the best side in Europe probably.

Like I said, he has a degree of ability. But for the millionth time, you can post untalented players (not saying he is untalented, but you get my point) doing this on the odd time against great teams too. And tbh, some of the plays in that video aren't even that impressive. Loses the ball a lot or poor crosses.

Every player has these sort of videos.

It's getting a bit tiring seeing people trying to claim how good players are through highlights videos.

it’s a highlight reel tho. Could make Nico Williams look like Ronaldinho.

To be fair, the majority of those stats is because of that 1 season where he killed it with 30 goals and 10 assist or something like that (I think it was in that season when United knocked out PSG with Rashford scoring that penalty for that great comeback and the Neymar baffled on the side of the pitch meme was created), which actually made United give him that fat extension, but before and after that season he was shit. Even before that one great season the signs were there, and many people, including United fans warned that giving him an extension was a mistake, but they didn't listen.

Anyway, hopefully he can replicate that one great season with us, not the many shit ones before and after it. But even if he does, I'm not too sure about buying him outright, cause he just seems like one of those players who just thrives only when he has shit to prove, and I don't see that if we give him a 3 or even a 4 year deal, even on moderate wages.

I have also seen him many many times struggle to control the ball, or fuck up a pass, or shoot out of the stadium. I watch full 90 mins of him over a decade, not one game against PSG.

You are posting very select moments to try to prove he is a superstar. I am refusing to buy it. Like I said you can make videos like this about very average players like Lingard for example, too.
