Going to be difficult with Roque coming but is strong as an Ox despite his age and should get more opportunities in those last 20-30 of games considering his initial impact.

Worth noting that Sandro Ramirez scored 2 in his first 3 LaLiga games, 1 in his first 3 CL games and 1 in his first 2 CdR games.

So although Guiu is a bigger talent and is an out and out forward, we should definitely proceed with caution.

Giui looks like what would happen if you gave Riqui Puig a red mushroom.

Maybe should send Guiu to Las Pimientas to learn from the master himself.

Only half joking tbh. Don't think he's ready to play regularly in La Liga but OTOH UDLP desperately need a striker and knowing how much Pimi likes (ex) Barca players wouldn't be surprised if he'd show some interest in January but in the end they'll probably look for someone more experienced.

Probably better to keep Guiu in Barca B until summer (should be getting some minutes off the bench despite Pau Victor in great form) and then decide whether to loan him next year or potentially make him a starter in BA (especially if they would be promoted so he would play on a higher level). Nothing wrong playing a full season in Segunda aged 18.

To be honest that is a really good call. Having substitute minutes at Las Palmas would be better than starting for the B team given that there are signs that he may be past that level. He is 18 in January so that changes the perception of youth a bit too.

Pimienta rather obviously plays the Barcelona way so it should be something on the clubs agenda. Go and give Laporta a call (or wait outside his favourite restaurant in Valencia and tell him).

It's worth noting that against Ponferradina the score was 1-1 and Giui come on for the last 15 minutes. Didn't really do much and the game ended 1-1.

So he probably wouldn't be the saviour for the A team against Valencia.

But then again I can't help but think that had he had that Raphinha chance, that he would have made a better attempt at a shot.
