We gave minutes to nobody since one of the amigos, Jordi Alba owned the LB spot. Certainly not the minutes a young player needs to develop. Best to not mention that era in terms of rebuilding the squad. We did jack shit, disaster on every level.

Nah, it was Abidal's decision because he believed so much in Miranda who was a tall LB with similar style like him. He didn't rate Cucurella at all.

Abidal cleared the deck for Miranda to force EV to play him as he was a big fan, Digne sold, Cucurella loaned nut Miranda was playing awful and he clearly didn't belong to first team.

He then tried to correct it, and signed Firpo of all players.

Amigos had their faults, but there was no bigger plaque at the time than Abidal (ok,Bartou was worse), he was the worst SD we had by a mile.

Thankfully Planas was his assistant and we managed to get some takents like Pedri and Araujo for dirt cheap. It helped later
