Commercially they're the biggest club itw. No doubt.

In terms of fans, they might be the biggest because many of the new age Real Madrid and Barcelona fans are plastic Ronaldo and Messi fans/gloryhunters who just jumped on the bandwagon. In terms of proper fans of the club (not individual players), it's definitely close. Redcafe is probably the biggest fan forum.

In terms of success and achievements, they're nowhere near the biggest. Not even a debate. Likes of Madrid and Liverpool are astronomically clear.

Won their Cup Final by hitting on the counter, though they admittedly totally dominated a poorly performing City team (with many players out).

Game raising cunts. Just makes the inevitable, guaranteed fall from grace when they fuck up against lesser teams who play low blocks even sweeter.

I also find it amusing that after telling us for many years how City are 'irrelevant' and their success counts for 'fuck all', they celebrate beating them like they've won the World Cup and CL both at the same time. Who were they trying to convince with the 'their trophies are pointless' comments, exactly? Us or themselves?

And is anyone really surprised that the boring Rassvet has annointed Carrick a great coach after ONE game? If you look up knee jerk in the dictionary you'd see a photo of Rassy's face. Not surprised that a low IQ guy like Ronaldo is going to be wrong over time on yet another football topic, either. This is the guy who thinks scoring most goals - regardless of context - makes him the best player ever, and got expelled at school for throwing a chair at a teacher he believes 'disrespected' him.

Didn't watch the game but this looks good and not how they normally play.

People shouldn't be surprised by Maguire. He was always very good on the ball. The memes really ruined his reputation lol.

No idea how or why is Hakimi generally better rated than Mendes
Think they're both elite players and complement each other either side. I enjoy watching both fly forward.. I can see why people would prefer either.

As great as Mendes is now, a few years ago he was considered a bit of a joke - he was young and still had to develop. At that time Hakimi was considered his superior. Hakimi has had a little fall with a few injuries and stuff, and Mendes has gone from strength to strength.

Overall, though, both excellent football players.
