Also, how well players adapt usually boils down to the manager. Hence why Pep, Klopp, someone, etc have fewer flops than other managers. Heck Id put Flick in this category too. He really is a beast at bringing out the best in players. This is another reason why we should reconsider before spending a fortune on players. We have a manager who can turn good players into very good players.

We wouldnt have pursued him if we couldn’t afford him. La Liga FFP is artificial and it merely exists to punish Barca while rewarding Tebas’ darling club.
