Worst game by MSN in two seasons. They were all terrible. Standing around, lazy, bad touches and dispossesed way too easily. Did I mention lazy? The rest of the team (minus Alba) played a pretty good game but had a meltdown the last 25 minutes. Rakitic had a good game imo and worked his ass off, the play halted at him half the time because he'd instantly get pressed by multiple Madrid players and the front three were just standing around instead of going to space to receive the ball.

MSN and Alba were all horrible. I can forgive them and you can't win every game, but what a pathetic display of effort on their part and in El Classico of all games. No one better even attempt to defend them.

Guys, keep calm. It was a rather meaningless game. Yeah of course for Johann we should have worked more. But for the league it doesnt matter a lot. No way we will loose 2-3 games out of 7 and Atletico will win all 7.

The most important thing is no one got injured. No one will care about this game in a month time but so will everybody when the CL semis take place without us.

I´m pretty sure players know which game is really important and our attitude will be completely different on Tuesday. At least I hope so

Nah, this team went unbeaten for 39 straight games, give them some credit, we were due for a loss. It just seems that way because it happened in back to back games against Villarreal and RM dropping points.

Game wasn't changed when Raki came off for Arda.

Real had just equalised from Marcelo burning past Raki for the umpteenth time. Nothing changed with Arda it was already heading that way.

I think Marcelo loves playing in games with Messi. He has so much freedom and no barriers in midfield to stop his runs.

That is because messi was playing more centrally instead of wing. Rarely made plays from wing. Rakitic had too much ground to cover. Obviously he can't cover that much. Messi playing in center was not working at all. Casemiro time and time again closing in on messi. Should have played more on wings.

Rakitic was still trying a lot to cover with alves help but since he got subbed out arda turan did not make half of rakitic effort in those fields. One reason I could think for our style today was atletico match coming up in 3 days. Lucho placed the team such a way that MSN won't get completely tired. After the goal it became worse and we never recovered. You can see how Bale and Ronaldo were tracking back and running back. If benzema played much better we would have been thrashed badly. We played pretty poor today. But nothing to worry about just need to correct some basics again.

Realistically the game should have been over in the first half, the Suarez chance and Ramos sending off plus RM were so exposed but we decided to pass it around at the back instead of attacking like we did in the 4-0 at the Bernabeu.
