The 'English' and weather is nonsense.

He puts his kids to English speaking school and his wife is fluent. While he practically begged Pep to take him last summer according to reports.

PSG is ideal. Easy add to his trophies to over take Alves. Friends there. Money. Up there with favs in CL and can cost a bit next season getting ready for WC.

English argument absolutely not nonense. Willing to bet you being able to communicate with teammates in Spanish over English in a team is a factor that plays a role for Messi.

In Spanish.

Does it really matter? He'll only be in England for 2 to 3 years and then he'll probably go to America. Tevez stayed in England for years and didn't even bother to learn the language.

There have plenty of managers and players who have gone to England and not even bothered to learn the language but they still stayed there for years.

I assure you that the players don't care about the language. Most of the time they stick to themselves or they have players around them who can speak their language in any case.

First of all...Messi is not someone who prefers to put himself outside his comfort zone.

Second of all, yeah I am not saying having to speak English would be absolute deal-breaker for him but pretty sure it is taken into the full equation for making his decision.t PSG seems way more likely. Argentinians and Spanish speakers in the team. Less pressure to speak English in public.

Maybe Messi just needs a few days to process things. This time last week he was assuming he was continuing. Now he has to leave his home after 21 years and where his kids were born.
