Good point.

Only issue is Messi lead us to an actual decade (actually more) of dominance, not the dembele kind, and valverde led us to 2 years of deterioration, bad football, embarrassments and a broken morale.

Also, good bait for a Valverde response, DonAK bit the bait.

Valverde took the seat behind the steering wheel of a car going at high speed, he could steer well but his foot was always off the gas pedal. Ended up with the car going at snail's pace before driving into a ditch.

That ditch couldn't have been so bad, considering he was still ahead of everyone else in the race, when Barcelona decided to change driver.

Talking bad about current coaches and saying the next one will make the team better is tradition. Ive heard it even 2012 when Pep was here, some barca fans said that he is finished and we need an another coach to get back to the top. Then it happened to Lucho, EV, Koeman. We love it :valverde2:

Messi 17-19 was class under EV but look at his performance at the WC 2018 and Copa 2019. Clearly the setup EV had for him at Barca deserves credit for getting the best out of him
