Quiet, rat.

Temp and I have 2 posts combined in this thread since June while you have over 40 posts in the Ronaldo thread since the start of October.

We know self awareness was never your forte but even you should know better.
Temp is banned from this thread since months/years  But of course you knew this already.

As for you, 100% of your last 1,000 to 2,000 to whatever thousand posts are bait or trolling.

Even your "insults" you parrot OG. Sorry state of affairs to pine for a 30/40 year old Colombian community college hack when you're not busy being the bidet of the other 2 trolls.

Guys enough with off-topic, back to on-topic.

After Alba, now Busi speaks about Lionel:

As his teammate at Barca, at Inter, and as a friend of Leo, we all know what he has meant to Barca, to all the Barca fans.”

He added that Messi’s continued connection to Barcelona is “a source of pride.” And then, for the first time, he revealed his reaction to the visit, “As the president has said, he will always be welcome”.

Alba cant stop speaking about Lionel:

“He wants a tribute, and I hope it happens. He deserves it; it will be a very beautiful celebration. Everyone is waiting for that moment. He is the best in history, and Camp Nou deserves to feel his magic again.”

However, Alba does not think Messi would want the Camp Nou to be named after him. He said:

“I don’t think Leo would want that. Camp Nou is fine. Whatever is done will be positive.”

I can understand Alba/Leo , im not a fan either from renaming a stadium with the name of the player, it often sounds strange. For example 'Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano' , it just sounds unnatural

On this day 3 years ago, after the shocking defeat against Saudi Arabia, the GOAT gave the coldest line in the history of football.

I still had faith in Scaloni and his team and we were rewarded handsomely.

Doesn’t it make Saudi the best team in the world when they were the only team who could beat the World Cup winner? 🤔🤔

Jokes aside, yeah I remember that after this game and the Mexico game, Argentina became a completely different team. Their focus and determination to win the trophy were immense. It will be interesting to see how Scaloni will let Argentina play at 26WC but if there is one nt coach i have to trust it’s Scaloni — absolutely insane guy!

Let's hope Scaloni wins the WC26 again.

@soul24rage do you think motivation will be a problem or are the players still hungry ?
Imo, motivation won't be as high as before which is only natural after winning so much. The team was still able to raise their game for the big games like Brazil in March 2025 and Colombia in Copa America 2024 final.

I still think that once the WC kicks in, the hype will be there. Also considering this is Messi's last ever international tournament, I'm sure the players will do whatever it takes that his last tournament won't end in "failure".

I still hope we get Saudi Arabia again in WC26

Ok interesting...also think Argentina has the power to raise their level when they have to, similar to Real 2016-2018, will be a tough WC...
