Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

When will something be done about this sort of trolling in the post above me?

Messi still put in far better all-round performances than Ronaldo in the CL and has more memorable moments.

Ronaldo needs a great team and great team-mates far more than Messi does. Messi's skillset is designed to get the best out of others, whereas Ronaldo's is to get himself goals while leeching on his team-mates. Messi carried Barca (later on) a lot more than Ronaldo carried RM, despite your nonsense about team-mates on paper.
Discussion was just about goalscoring numbers.

Trend of crying for mods whenever one loses an argument or sees a balanced take is becoming too prevalent.

It's not balanced though - everyone knows you love Ronaldo and hate Messi. You're clearly trying to stir the pot. You know I like you and think you are a good guy, but you have to admit you troll A LOT.

Either way, the point is that Ronaldo needs great team mates, as proved by his failures at international level, where is team mates have been good but not RM level.

What is weird is you used to prefer Messi to Ronaldo. I suppose you got fed up of everyone drooling over Messi as a player and decided to be a contrarian, also because you got on well with that OG fella.

We already have a benchmark with the champions league for how their numbers would compare if they played against the same opposition on a consistent basis throughout the careers. Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo holds all the goalscoring records in that competition despite starting his career as a midfielder and having worse teammates overall than Messi.
Harsh to call teammates like Papa Perez and Refs as worse when they literally carried CR7

Messi could keep up until 2013 but then CR7 reached a new level, a level which weve never seen before in terms of scoring, the AI level!

I criticise sometimes Messi but i dont mean the la pulga of 08-12, just saw the video on fb vs Stuttgart in 2009/2010, i still remember this match very well (good old times). Two of his best cl goals + super pass

Ronaldo played like 40 games against teams out of top 75 of fifa ranking, 25 of them out of top 100 which means teams that pretty much don't have real professional players.

Messi had barely 12 games in his entire career against teams out of top 75, only 2 of them against teams out of top 100.

In ucl you don't face bums that can concede 8-9 goals like can happen in euro or wc qualifying, no sense comparison.

I mean, even a bum like Lukaku will likely finish his career around 110 goals with NT

If he was 6 inches taller and given zero responsibility in open play, was allowed to just play on the shoulder all game and wait for chances to arrive in the box - how many goals would he score?

He's always been quality over quantity, though he has both.
