Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

A perfect 10 performance today vs Columbus. 2 lob/chip goals and 2 assists (the 2nd is just top class). His close control is still the best in the world.

The real Inter win by 5 goals, the fake one lost by 5.
Great video

That pass at 2.17 is the type of things he does all the time that often doesn't end in a goal, so doesn't show up on stats sheet. Little moments of unselfish brilliance like that are a big part of why he's the greatest.

🤯 In just 24 days, Lionel Messi will be free to negotiate with any club in the world. His contract with Inter Miami expires on 12/31, and there are still no updates regarding a renewal.

All options are on the table: staying in MLS, a return to Europe, or retirement in Argentine football.

Which shirt suits him best? 👀

Who want him?

Would love to have him back but I don't think he'll come. Hope he goes to Newells for half a season if he plans to retire after WC. He will probably stay in Miami.

Happy to see the GOAT back in the national team, still the team's best player.

He's the only player that would make rival fans make him watch him while his own national team is playing.

Never seen anything like this ever

Look how deep he is, he's in his own half, and then compare how Ronaldo plays on the shoulder all game for Portugal. And it's been like this for many years.

Yet still some people compare them on 'goals scored', lol.

If the GOAT has played in Europe, he would have 150+ international goals easily by now.

250+ easily.

Oh look at me, I scored a goal against Malta, I'm great
We already have a benchmark with the champions league for how their numbers would compare if they played against the same opposition on a consistent basis throughout the careers. Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo holds all the goalscoring records in that competition despite starting his career as a midfielder and having worse teammates overall than Messi.

When will something be done about this sort of trolling in the post above me?

Messi still put in far better all-round performances than Ronaldo in the CL and has more memorable moments.

Ronaldo needs a great team and great team-mates far more than Messi does. Messi's skillset is designed to get the best out of others, whereas Ronaldo's is to get himself goals while leeching on his team-mates. Messi carried Barca (later on) a lot more than Ronaldo carried RM, despite your nonsense about team-mates on paper.
