Last weeks performance was like many this season that Barca have got away with.

Although to be fair Balde, Araujo, Kounde, Pedri, Dembele all missing and likes of Gavi and Lewa been in a slump for a while. All off the back of a Thursday night game in England.

Need win here to keep pressure on Real and their game later.

El once inicial es el siguiente: Ter Stegen; Kound?, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; Busquets, De Jong, Sergi Roberto; Raphinha, Ferran Torres y Ansu

Didn't expect to see Balde start again but fairplay. Bobby Surge in there too.

Valencia have gone with a double right back...?

Both Foulquier and Correia are playing. Apparently they tested this idea in training as well.

I think it might be to go for broke on our left side because Balde gets very high up the pitch, but it could be less effective now we're playing 433 instead of expected 442. Could also be to lock down on defense but that seems a bit stupid given almost all of our attacks come from the right.

Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Surely to fuck Balde is still taking the width and one of Fati/Ferran will be narrower forward fro left to get closer to the other in the middle...

If this is two wie players hugging touchline and Ferran or Fati isolated at CF with no real attacking mids behind them then Xavi has lost the plot.
