Crazy how fast the world moves, it was like yesterday that we played this game but on 3rd March 2024, we got a huge help from both Girona and Madrid at the time, Girona had just lost to Mallorca earlier that day and Madrid drew to Valencia the day before. We had a chance to overtake Girona and cut the gap to 6 points with Madrid, what happened was both de Jong and Pedri got injured that day in the 1st half and we played an extremely stale 0-0 draw. I gave up on LaLiga that day and I think most people here gave up too.

Dark days for the club at the time.
