Source.
I posted those numbers before the Bilbao game, so they are updated now.

Stats prove he has been better finisher than the other 3, despite what you say. (penalties not included, it's np xG)

Doesnt seem to match with understat which has him as worst finisher in the team for La Liga.

Depends which one choose but never seen that source before.

But you are comparing Braithwaite to the worst form Coutinho and Messi have been in in their entire careers.

Understat counts penalties though?

Of course!
I would be an idiot to say that he is a BETTER finisher IN GENERAL than Cou and Messi

But this season, with the bad finishing of Messi first and firemost, and then Griezman, even Braithwate has fared better

Which it should as a missed penalty is a major chance.

But even then their expected goals including penalties do not match.

For undertstat in La Liga he is worst finisher in team it looks like in the league. Havent checked them all but of attacking players.

Understat data do not include UCL and Copa.
That's a major under representation.
Probably that's why there is a discrepancy. Don't go by what understat says then.

And then, taking penalties is a different discussion. Should be excluded. open-field actions determine how good a finisher someone is

Comparing league the only data on understat he is the worst finisher as I said.

Using your source he is better than Messi/Grieza etc but not as good a finisher as FDJ, Pedri, Dembele, Aruajo or Lenglet.

In league where majority games are played he has been worst finisher of attackers.

The champions league may be different but not trusting that source really. There has been no Copa games anyway.

They take xG and expected stats in general from StatsBomb which is one of the best football data and analytics company.
Much better than understat.

Now the champions league games are important also, and he performed well in 4-2-3-1 as a CF in those two games against Dynamo and Ferencvaros.
Of course, if Messi recovers his former self he will surpass him in conversion rate.
But for the time being, it is what it is! He has finished better than all 3 of Messi, Cou, Griez this season.
(But the best finishers by miles have been Ansu and Dembouz this season)

Spain, especially the south, is on high alert for the storm Filomena, which has been threatening in recent days and which has already caused snowfall, heavy rain or very low temperatures, some of them record historical. Bar?a is aware of the weather report to be able to travel to Granada today, where it will play this Saturday, and avoid last minute surprises.

The current forecast in the Andalusian city is a cloudy day with some probability of rain and winds that could reach up to 22 km per hour at the end of the day. The maximum temperature forecast in Granada for this Friday is 11 degrees and the minimum is 5.

Looking ahead to match day, a lot of wind is expected, although it will decrease around 6.30 pm, when Granada-Bar?a should start. Then the sky will be clear although very low temperatures are expected, around three degrees.

Arguing Martin been the better finisher on such a small sample, while true for the first part of the season, is completely pointless. For all we know, those 4 (is it?) goals might've been flukes. And of top of that, he hasn't been one bit consistent with it. While not wrong, it's a piece of a no use fact to which overuse of modern data can lead us.
