VAR tried to get Real a penalty that Ref correctly stood his ground for.

No chance they would intervene and take the goal away.

Robbery at its finest.
Why didn't VAR advice the ref to take a look at that Guler moment? Mingueza touches him. I saw much weaker pens being given.

Celta didn't play well and Madrid didn't deserve the win either xG-wise but Celta were awful in the second half bar that Aspas chance

This Madrid team is nothing special to outplay. Celta shat the bed a bit

as fucking usual... last kick after some dodgy shit - that club is so dirty. Also, half the players should have been suspended, that little fucker Rudiger et al.

Celta were awful indeed for huge portions of the match. It was not a penalty on Guler. 50-50 on the handball incident, where it's a judgment call to decide if the push was enough to call (Jutgla made a mess of it), and a clear robbery at the last goal.

But, that's life. We play in a league were most officials are Madrid fans, and it will never change.

I don't blame the ref, he called what he saw and made some honest mistakes. But the VAR official is suspicious.

We need to be careful tomorrow. Madrid will get sent packing by City in CL and will have only the league to focus. And most close decisions will go their way.

This is why we can't afford to rest anyone for CL games except if it is absolutely necessary. Whoever is fit should play.

I know for a fact that u cant tackle with both legs .. the leg that went for the tackle was rough but one could say he touches the ball.. but his second free leg swipe tackled the celta Vigo and in fact swipe both of his legs ! That's a foul any day .

It's a foul with each of the legs, typical scissor tackle with no hope of getting the ball cleanly, only through the player . Rafinha, former one, had an ACL tear from a similar tackle by Nainggolan in a Roma match 8-9 years ago.

Only explanation is that it took too long from freekick to goal. But we have received those against us before
Lol.. not too long at all . In fact the criteria here is never anout the temporal length but actually if the action is finished or not .. in this instance real madrid held the ball until it got scored so its the same action. And var refs actually "reviewed " it and signaled to field ref that no foul.

They do this to make sure the league is close. They know Barca will rest players this weekend so a good chance for us to drop points. It will be all about building up this next Clasico as the decider

Just watched the highlights guys, i was happy when i saw 90min and it was still 1-1 but ofc the fucking Fede needs to score the winner.

But this Real looks so average, Courtois is rescuing them atm but they wont be a danger. Cant believe though we lost clasico to them but looks like that was their peak form.

Winning La Liga is a major feat when you basically start -15 points courtesy of boys in black.
More like we get robbed around 7-10 points, while Madrid gets 10p gifted through shady penalties and other decisions. This season I'd not be surprised if we're closer to 20 points disadvantage thanks to the refs to be honest.
