Kylian Mbappé

Impressive communication for a 18 years old Oo

He also said that he met with MANY clubs (is Barca included? We should ask Barto) when asked about why he chose PSG over Real Madrid, and from what I understood what he cared about the most seems playtime.

He said he knows he is the player with fewest titles in the dressing room, and that he must keep a low profile inside because of that.

I'm sad he joined PSG over us, but it isn't everyday you see such a talent saying No to Real Madrid. That hurts less knowing that.

Impressive talks anyways. Followed many player conferences of many clubs, and one wouldn't believe he's only 18.

And since I had to discuss it with some people here who said he can only play as a 9, he confirmed himself three things:

1/ The people who taught him made him play everywhere in the attack because they wanted him to be an all around versatile striker.

2/ It's true that at the end with Monaco he played mostly in axial position, but he never played two seasons in the same spot, so he can play anywhere.

3/ Playing at the left or right is no problem, and when he discussed it with Emery about where he will play, he had no problems when Emery said he will play him in all three positions.

That should close this debate.

On the matter of his idols, he says he has many. Not only Zidane, and CR7, but also Ronaldinho, Messi, and Neymar.

If he ever lands here, I bet he won't have any problems playing alongside Messi

IF Messi is still with us at that point…

Julien, do you think Graham Hunter's account of his transfer was accurate? Sounds like he was painting a picture that was opposite to what the French media was saying?

You will always have people saying Mbappe is lying, and that everything is a complot, but if you consider that everything Kylian said today matches with what French medias said, what PSG, and Monaco insiders said, then up to you to believe it or not.

Mbappe replied to everything during the press conference, and the only thing he didn't want to talk about now is why did he change his mind since at the start he wanted to stay with Monaco, then decided to leave. He said he will tell the reason later but not today, and that it's between him, and Monaco.

Most people are thinking the reason is what ParisUnited reported: He wanted to stay, but Monaco wanted to sell him now, so he picked PSG over Real Madrid.

He said it today he chose PSG over MANY clubs including Real Madrid but that his first choice was to stay in Monaco.

My personal opinion is that Real Madrid is feeding journalists with what suits them. Better to tell they dropped Mbappe because he was too expensive (or because Mbappe wanted too much money) than saying Mbappe chose PSG over the all mighty Real Madrid. Mbappe said it was not a matter of money too. And that he didn't care about the fee since he's not the one earning this money, and not the one paying. PSG president also confirmed what ParisUnited said, Mbappe, and PSG discussed his wages only after he picked PSG and decided to join them, not before.

But today Mbappe just crushed the rosy madridistas story.

Why wouldn't Mbappe get any of the transfer fee, and if not, why would he choose PSG.

Neymar said he didn't move for the money, his heart chose PSG and it's just a coincidence they also had enough cash for his buyout clause.

The entire thing is bs, they are probably being told by PSG's PR to repeatedly say they didn't move for money, when the fact is it's the only reason they are there

Dembele produced these stats in a team that finished in the 8th spot, Scoring only 52 goals and conceding 54
Mbappe produced his stats in a team that won the league, Scoring 107 goals and conceding 37.

Did Mbappe pull a Cruyff on Real? I mean the reason why he rejected Real was that Monaco dealt with Real behind his back right?

Oh really, speaking of arsenal

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">18 months ago Wenger met Mbappé, when 17, and his family. They wanted a commission of €7-8m to go to Arsenal and logically Wenger said no <a href="https://t.co/qZ6vXSJdn3">pic.twitter.com/qZ6vXSJdn3</a></p>— Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) <a href="https://twitter.com/GuillemBalague/status/902130235545661440">August 28, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I know it's balauge, But we laughed at him regarding coutinho and he was right.
Knowing he has such a greedy entourage no wonder he and Neymar ended up playing for the same team
Yeah, They both chose PSG for it's 'project'.......lying c**ts

What did you expect? Players go to barca for less money because they love barca? Money talks, truth is that PSG have more promising squad at the moment then barca, so i dont blame neymar why he left, mbappe is still very young and can end up in his dream club after few seasons, real

As I said people will choose what they want to believe in, so I won't debate about it anymore.

I'm just happy that he didn't join fucking Real Madrid that is #1 in my hate list.
