There is no comfort in your rival getting a 150m. worth of player for free. Don't kid yourself .

The only consolation is these Qatari fools at PSG getting played by Mbappe.

Wages are fine and been prepped a long time. Benzema 2nd highest/THE highest earner would likely be gone, Bale up there on wage ladder gone, Marcelo 3rd highest earner and 2nd captain gone, Hazard possibly shipped out on loan and his part of salary slashed or gone altogether for a whole year as wouldn't play much anyway. Loads of salary freed up easy, something of a magnitude of 50-60M and that's excluding Isco who's also gonna go, any possible sales (i.e. Jović) and Modrić getting an extension that could be cut further and Im sure he'd not complain if it facilitates these two coming in
Two U23 players wouldn't likely be getting more than 18M each to start anyway, Perez not known to hand these out willy nilly to anyone, even CR got a rather normal star contract before it got raised to the region of 20-25 after which demanded it to kept at Messi level post-2015 and Perez blocked final raise when he turned 33. Bonuses would be fatter and even those arent a problem

No reason to think we'd be broke if two of them came and would likely attract plenty of interest if they started banging them in together much like various players gravitated to PSG when Mbappe signed on with Neymar i.e. Icardi, Hakimi..

Not sure about all of what you write.
It seems a lot of wishful thinking there.
Benzema is not leaving this summer, Hazard Jovic isco are just speculations.
The only people off the wage bill at the start of next season are Bale and Marcelo. How much are they getting? Doesn't sound enough to pay both Mbape and Haaland

Then, rumours are about both Mbape and Haaland that they will command exorbitant wages.
About Mbape the rumour is he has signed already his contract with RM for 50m/year
Then, the rumours is that Haaland is demanding 30m pounds/year from suitors (1 of the reasons I don't want him at Barca)

Even if that not true, how much is mbape currently getting at PSG? 22m?
And you think he will accept a decrease in wage, let alone a substantial increase?
LOL, no way
Then, whatever one is getting the other has to get as well, otherwise there will be problems...

In short, I think you are projecting what you think ideal scenario is on reality, which is much harsher in terms of wages at least

On paper it's the best attack in the world. Remains to be seen how cohesive they are on the field.

On paper a lot of things sound certain way, before reality defies them.
I have major doubts about the compatibility of Mbape and Haaland.

10 or more each. Bale likely on highest contract year of his career so anywhere in region of 16-20 is likely as was always sort of on par or below Ramos
Isco also not speculation as contract runs out and would have to be a miracle to get extended for a player for whom there isnt even a position. All he's doing now is taking time to show himself on pitch to an interested party or he'll end up with nobody caring to give him a job

That's already 40M
Then more room can be made with loans or sales

Then, rumours are about both Mbape and Haaland that they will command exorbitant wages.

That number is absolutely nonsense unless it's gross rather than net and even then it's unreasonably high. Ronaldo was on less than 30 at time where wanted competitive wages with Messi being paid 40-50 (AFAIK) and got booted + given that 30-35 at Juve, and pretty sure that was part of wikileaks or something
No chance Mbappe is given more money than the highest scorer in club history ever had on any of his contracts with Mbappe at the entry point

Then, the rumours is that Haaland is demanding 30m pounds/year from suitors (1 of the reasons I don't want him at Barca)

Suitors will always give more than RM is willing as he's more open to listening to their offers and isn't tied down as Mbappe is with Madrid.
Don't think money is what he cares about that much at this stage, sounds like not even sure he wants to leave Dortmund but being pressured to decide, and RM won't go all out to match as know they're likely to get outbid by clubs with deeper pockets and who have no La Liga salary cap to watch that Tebas has to respect since he forced a GOAT player out over it and can't make exceptions
(which may or may not matter depending when they want to roll out Super League 2.0)

And you think he will accept a decrease in wage, let alone a substantial increase?
LOL, no way

He will take whatever RM offers as long as not less than Haaland if comes at same time and places him firmly atop current wage ladder in RM according to senority
Made his own bed on that one since continues to claim he wants to leave meaning he's more keen to join the club rather than take its money
Doubt will earn more than Benzema or likes of Kroos in the immediate term

In short, I think you are projecting what you think ideal scenario is on reality, which is much harsher in terms of wages at least

Maybe
But at same time not really
Wages guesswork whichever you play it as nobody knows how much players earn unless it's leaked with only ball park figures ever discussed, and can only assume most likely scenarios based on character and track record of parties involved
You're equally projecting from own perspective that assumes a bunch of things while disregarding various others as speculation
RM are moving on from various players that sat in Madrid and hogged money and knew this is the way they wanted to go since at least 2019 when became obvious team needs to prep some space for a superstar to help start new cycle.
Since Hazard hasnt worked out as planned and if Carlo stays + communicates this is the role he has for him in mind then will be easier to convince him to move and allow more wage room

Honestly money is last thing Im worried about this summer or knock-on effects of what we do.
If get both it's fantastic and places us in even better position putting more eyes on the team from everywhere trying to work out how good these two would work together and players wanting to contribute
Bigger issue is actually putting pieces together on the field
