He is very shrewd and a great manager in my opinion. He lets people do their job.Anyway, anything is better than Ratomeu.Even you and i would be better presidents than this cockroach.

Yup, I love Laporta too, very charismatic and lets people do their jobs like you said.

Holy shit, it actually fecking happened.

I can't wait to see Bartomeu and his gang declare bankruptcy.

They will be liable for the €820m debt that Barcelona got during Barto's tenure.

New board should:

1. Get rid of all the hybrid players in Griezmann, Coutinho and maybe Messi.

2. Messi's our legend. So either he leaves or signs a new contract where he's wages are severely reduced, alongside accepting a new role (with diminished influence) in the squad. If not, let him go. Too expensive and way too much of a tacical headache.

Those two points are important in setting the club back on track in terms of squad building. Balanced with wingers, strikers, and a competent 3/2 man midfield. Can't have that with 3 no.10s starting at the same time.

He's just a party boy that rode his luck. Lucky for the golden La Masia to emerge and also for Pep to turn out a worldclass manager.

My bet is that he's gonna be shite in his second mandate.

of the players we have: Ansu and Frenkie are the only ones i'd keep 100%. Dest looks promising.

Messi, Griezmann, Coutinho, Pique and Busi need to leave this summer. no new contracts, no wage reductions, they need to go.

C'mon mate, let's not disrespect Laporta's legacy.

Barca were a completely dysfunctional club when Laporta became the president.

He's one of the main reasons why we became ridiculously succsssful in 2000s.

Also, nobody expected Pep as a world class coach. Laporta could've easily choosed a far more experienced in Mourinho, but didn't.

According to statutes, elections must be called between 40 and 90 days, means a new president of Barcelona in January.

So, technically, this didn't make much of a difference because Bartomeu was gone in March in any case.

Regardless, I have no faith in Laporta or Font. I especially don't trust Font.

Obviously, this is great news. But it's 2 years too late and the damage has already been done.

Barto most probably would have brought in Depay in the Jan. transfer window, which is a big no for me.

A guy who brought the personnel that made Barca a massive success after being complete dog shit for several years is a legend in my eyes. But I've got no favourites for next president, I'm just glad Bartomeu is finally out the door!

I'm not being ungrateful here. If he got some calls right, fair enough. But in the end he was very lucky.

Bartomeu profited from the same golden generation + addition of Neymar and Suarez.
