I kind of predicted that Barto will try to attract Cruyff and Cruyff will maintain neutral position between Barto and Laporta. Interesting fact is that Laporta not announcing his decision to run, there are rumors that he is aiming for political career. Word of the Cruyff link up has been going on before the elections were announced I am sure.

Cruyff is switched on and is a master of the politics at club level, cant really see him allowing his name to be used if he believes purely for election.

The word was that Bartomeu wanted to mend things with Cruyff. This is the first time we're hearing about the relations being improved through this possible deal.

He is not trying any announcements that could harm the club or take attention away.

Not sure about that. He already fired Rosell's executives, if he gets elected Sandro will have no influance on him. I don't think he will do all the nasty things to Rosell like he did to Laporta... on the other hand who knows...like Barto has integrity...?

IF he wins, then the only thing which would convince me otherwise initially is if he brings in a completely new team and don't associate himself with some of the board members and directors right now.

Still some bad apples there right now.
