This is the worst case scenario... but it says in that piece of news that, if the club is found guilty of fraud against the hacienda, for crimes commited in 2014, when neymar already lived in bcn, that the penalty could be the banning from activities, closing the doors or the dissolution of the club.
The club released a statement: http://www.fcbarcelona.com/club/det...ona-statement-regarding-prosecutor-s-petition
They're claiming “surprise, indignation and disgareement" of all the accusations.
The current team of lawyers of the club lost every single case so far. It's a bit worrying.
The judge also accepted the fiscalia agent claims, and Bartomeu was indicted. He'll testify in Feb 13th.
should i be worried??
Wow, the dissolution of the club? The chances of that happening must only be theoretical, but in reality zero right?
This board is seriously the worst in Barca history, what a bunch of frauds and criminals.
I think the realistic outcome will be some sort of penalty for the club.
So that's more damage to the team, another crack in the image, another distraction for the players who right now are in a good flow and need to stay focused for the business end of the season... I feel we can't even get a quiet month with these guys, everytime things seem to settle down and our team starts doing well, some fresh shit from Bartomeu and his gang of hacks pops up that destroys the calm.
I have been extremely critical of the board for years' now. In any case it is also obvious for me that somebody (wonder who?) is trying to tarnish the name of the club and destabilize it. There is no doubt that anti-Catalan forces or Franco CF are involved somehow.
Transfers like Neymar's are common all over Europe. This is getting beyond ridiculous and if this continues FCB should just leave the joke that is the Spanish league. So many Spaniards are butthurt due to Catalunya (richest province and by far and the most cultured) wanting to escape the sinking hellhole that is Spain.
How strange that the judge that has imputed Rosell, Bartomeu and the club is a certain Pablo Ruz from Madrid. That the court in this case is the Audiencia Nacional. A Madrid-based court and a predecessor of the Francoist Tribunal de Orden Público.
Let us just imagine that the club loses the court case. What are the options then? Well it's to take the case to the Tribunal Supremo which is based in Madrid too and which is full of anti-Catalan judges and high ranking personal.
Spain is rotten to the core.
Nobody should doubt that a lot of those scandals are not coincidental. They all started appearing when Catalunya started to push for independence with FCB supporting the right of the Catalonian people.
The hatred against anything Catalan is quickly visible by just reading the comments on Marca, AS and leading Spanish newspapers.
Pérez being the criminal he is with very close ties to the Conservative government is doing everything to damage FCB after years of dominance.
This is Spain. Don't forget that.
Surely madrid's press is having a field day with all this. But rosell and barto are the ones who gave them the fuel to light the fire. They are both indicted for tax fraud, and also got the club indicted.
And ofc the club won't be dissolved, but it was a tax lawyer, Seguimundo Navarro, that listed some of the penalties. That's not made up.
I'm not. Still, rosell and barto are the ones to blame. You can't excuse them by saying "madrid is out to get us". They commited mistakes. Very huge ones, and dragged the club's name into the mud. It's their fault, not madrid's.
We don't even know the full story of this yet. Too me it all seems too strange and coincidental. Especially if you include all the other scandals and the timing.
The difference is that RM is beyond the law in Spain and always was.
I am sure that if for instance Bale's transfer was scrutinized to the last letter then you would be able to find irregularities as well.
Do you really believe that it is a coincidence that the club, Rosell and Bartomeu get imputed at this point in time? Finally when the club's situation calms down a bit and the results show this (8 consecutive victories)?
I support the club in this case as much as I dislike the current board. The club already explained everything regarding the Neymar transfer.
It all smells bad to me.
You should read the fiscalia agent's report. It's somewhere on the previous pages. This is not a conspiracy. They commited crimes are are indicted for it. Simple, really. All your claims are void, as you seem to be ignoring this. They didn't explain everything, not even a half. Don't forget a socio started all this.
Yes, a socio by the name Jordi Cases (a suspicious individual) that took the club (Rosell) to the court ironically dropped his case back in October yet the Ministerio Fiscal de España continued the proceedings.
The problem is that all this is shady. There are dozen's of Neymar transfers out there.
