It was clear from the start that it was hard to deny wrongdoings, so they just aiming to reduce the punishment.

Also the money paid to douglas' dad and rosell. Yeah wont be surprised if rosell is pulling the strings with his brazilian connections

Toni Freixa didn't leave the board, btw. He was accused of leaking things to the press, and lost his secretary position. But he can't be fired from the board. They thought he would resign, but he didn't. So he's still part of the board. Awkward as it gets. They think he is a spy, but can't make him go. Freixa is the only board member without an assigned position.
