GOAT president! You simply cannot outclass him.
- Spends 400m in signings with no sporting plan for them.
- Loans the most expensive signing in the club's history to one of our main CL rivals and one of the strongest teams.
- Gives 5+ years contracts with massive wages to 30yo players and signs weird clauses for auto renewals and stuff.
- Hires a mediocre manager so he can control him and pin his decisions to the players.
- Hires a below mediocre manager, at the middle of the season, so he can throw him under the bus in case of disaster.
- Has fired everyone around him but somehow avoids criticism from the media himself.

As if amigos were created in a vacuum and not under the utter incompetence and mismanagement of Barto and the board.
We'd have 2 less problems right now if if he didn't extend Busquets and Alba just last year. I mean, he empowered 2 players just after the humiliation against Roma and Liverpool. What are we talking about here? This guy is 100% at fault for creating the culture of "the amigos".

Posters here are pretty dim though. Last season the circle jerk consensus was that it's all Rakitic's and EV's fault. "Y u no play Arthur". Now it's Suarez' and Messi's fault for conceding 8 goals while getting 0 service. Next season when they are also gone and the team is "rebuild" with lots of amazing signings in the mould of Semedo, Firpino, Paco, Gomes, Arthur, Braithwaite, Arthur, Coutinho, Griezmann etc., under a coach who got sacked by Everton, they'll find new catch phrases and irrelevant talking points.

Would be careful before lazily tagging any presidential candidate as sounding "just like Bartomeu/Rosell".
Should never forget that aside from the total shitshow on the sporting side, what makes Barto/Rosell so bad is that the criminal/corrupt side to their presidency and the total moral decay that has brought to the club. They've gone to jail for it ffs! Read this article for an account of their misdeeds just from 2010-2014! Can't think of any other sporting club led by mafiosis like this.
All these guys standing can promise their Xavi's and Guardiolas, they can mess up some transfer decisions, hire the wrong coaches etc...but all of that stays within the boundaries of sport and is acceptable. It doesn't translate into criminality and jail time like all the other stuff Barto/Rossell have done.
To me, all I want as a fundamental is for these candidates to not be criminal corrupt leeches. If they are that, and are Ed Woodward on the sporting side, then that is already a massive improvement over our last 10 years.

Believe that article if you want but when make claims like people went to prison due to presidency then it is wrong.
Biggest issue by far and away is how the board have let the squad get to what it is now.
