RM have perfected a way of developing youngsters via loans.

But here, we are buying either 30+ olds, huge transfers that either are bad fits (Griezmann, Coutinho), injury prone (Dembele) or we give up on youngsters ASAP.

We were unlucky with Dembele, but the Coutinho and ESPECIALLY Griezmann transfers were dumb. If I had the choice, I would try to sell Coutinho and Griezmann and get a 9 with that money. Or maybe even try and prepare Fati to play a 9.

Frenkie was bought for Busquets eventual replacement - I'm good with that.

How can we replace suarez? We could be buying Haaland but not now.

How can we replace Pique? We could currently be trying to buy any top CB but can't now.

How can we replace Rakitic/Vidal? We could be buying any class CM in the world if we had limited our spending.
