Besides the fact that he is the best player in the world, he is a 24 year old Madrid player who graduated from the Madrid academy. He moved to Espanyol for three years where he stunned Barcelona with a brilliant rocket of a shot that went in much to Barcelona's dismay.
I personally was hoping to see him play in the Classico just so that he can repeat what he has done with Espanyol, but Mourinho has not yet put full faith in the Spanish C. Ronaldo.
