As if Al-Hilal cares about salary of Cancelo. Laporta should just offer the sons of the Sheikh to spend 2 hours with Lamine and it should be enough to get him for free until summer.

Did we even sign any player since Deco took over who wasn't a client of Mendes, Zahavi, Bara or some shady Brazilian money laundering? Club de amigos on all levels.

This club never fails to amaze me, bad decision after bad decision, it's honestly laughable that even after we take steps forward, we actively look to find a way to take a step back.

We need a CB and so Deco goes out an gets someone who is a terrible defender to cover at FB? So they think they can win the CL with Martin-Cubarsi partnership? With Araujo and Garcia as subs?

Is the window already over? Were there official statements from Flick that he wants to win the CL with Martin-Cubarsi?
Also if Deco buys Cancelo, then Flick gave his okay. Since Martin is now mainly a centre-back, we have no subs for both our fullbacks.

Cancelo is:

- cheap enough to be registered despite our nearly zero ffp margin.
- available in the complicated winter market
- played in Barca and doesn't need any pre-season to be useful
- can play both sides
- is comfortable in Flick's system, because he played a variaty of it under Pep
- with 31 not too old


Please, feel free to suggest a player in the winter market with similar pros and actually possible for the club to buy in our ffp situation.

With Martin at CB full time it makes sense to bring Cancelo. Short term he brings competition on both sides. Think he will want to play and compete so Balde and Kounde better watch out.

Let's see of this also means more of Kounde at CB.

3 out of 4 players in backline are playing without much competition. All of Balde, Kounde and Cubarsi been below their usual level but there's nothing we can do about it. Last spot is up for grabs but with Christensen injury and Araujo being weak, that position picks itself too.

sincerely hope that Kounde gets injured for 1-2 months and the right-back position is taken by Cancelo. No, not because I dislike Kounde's game, I just want to see the idiots who bash Kounde 24/7, saying he is not good enough in attack. I want to see how their super technical defender will perform offensively when he has to cover for two players, because an 18-year-old Moroccan princess does not want to defend.

Rumors about Cancelo took an extra spin last day or so, I guess he's coming.
Not bad at all, dude loves Barca and we love him because of that. Now we can move Neanderthal Kounde to CB and ask him to take some internet-courses on how to be a leader lol.
Cancelo hopefully going to gel with Yamal and bomb that right side. Is he bad at defending, yes - is he much worse than Kounde? Not really tbh. Let Kounde focus on CB and play Garcia there as backup - we need to give Bernal more minutes on DM anyway.
